Street Anti-Semitism Anti-Semitic posters posted on the walls of Istanbul’s Kurtulus and Ferikoy neighborhoods

Ishak Ibrahimzadeh, Leader of Turkish Jewish Community after seeing posters containing anti-Semitic expressions and hate speech on the walls of Istanbul’s busiest streets on Kurtulus and Ferikoy neighborhoods, tweeted “One morning you wake up and see Kurtulus and Ferikoy surrounded by anti-Semitic posters” and sent a complaint to Sisli Municipality regarding the posters.

The municipality informed Ibrahimzadeh that the posters will be removed. Ibrahimzadeh also stated that the posters constitute a crime, therefore shall be reported to legal authorities.
