Izzet Keribar named as “The Artist of the Year”

The Art Institution Plastic Arts Selection Committee selected the winners of the honor awards and the service awards for 2016.  Photograph Artist Izzet Keribar was named “The Artist of the Year” in the photography category.

The winners will receive their awards at the the Traditional Arts Awards Ceremony on March 20th, at the Union of Turkish Bar Association. Idil Biret, a prominent Turkish pianist who has given several concerts in both Turkey and abroad, will receive the honor award.

Izzet Keribar’s latest photograph exhibition where he compiled photos he took at the Venice Carnival was opened on March 14, at the Quincentennial Foundation Jewish Museum of Turkey. 30 photos taken by Izzet Keribar is being displayed at the Exhibition.

UÖMO Middle School Students´ Success in the Innovation Competition
Ulus Jewish Schools Middle School´s young tech geniuses achieved great success in the 10th Başahşehir Living Lab Innovation Competition. In the competition where 220 projects from all over Turkey have competed with the "Innovative ideas are competing" motto, UÖMO students, standing out from their rivals with their "Natural Disaster Kit", came third in the middle school category.
