Prof. Dr. Rejin Kebudi receives International Women Leaders in Oncology Award

Rejin Kebudi, MD, a Professor in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine and the Istanbul University, Oncology Institute received ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) 2018 Women Who Conquer Cancer Mentorship Award. 

Prof. Dr. Rejin Kebudi has been working in cooperation with various international oncology centers and institutions on pediatric oncology. She will receive her award on June 3rd, at ASCO’s annual congress, in Chicago. 

The recipients of these awards include researchers, patient advocates, and global oncology leaders who have worked to transform cancer care around the World as leaders and mentors. Proud to have been honored with such an award Prof. Dr. Kebudi said, “I had many esteemed teachers renowned for their achievements both on national and international level. I’m always grateful to them. Now, I am happy to mentor young doctors, oncologists and women in their academic studies and help them become competent on international level. I have been working gladly in oncology and especially pediatric oncology for many years, both here, in Turkey and abroad. I am honored by this award not only as a leader and mentor in oncology, but also as a Turkish woman.”
