A pleasant chat with Ilber Ortayli

On Sunday morning, December the 23rd, Charity for the Impoverished (FKD) organized a breakfast seminar at Or Ahayim Hospital’s Nesim Albala Hall. Prof. Dr. Ilber Ortayli was the guest speaker at the breakfast seminar. The main topic of the seminar moderated by Elda Sasun was “The impact of Jews in Ottoman Empire era and Republic era since they migrated to Ottoman Empire from Spain in 1492”. The seminar ended after the Q&A session.

 

At the end of the event, acclaimed photographer Izzet Keribar who has recently received the Presidential Culture and Art Grand Award signed his books for the guests. Or Ahayim Hospital Foundation Chairman Yasar Abuaf presented Prof. Dr. Ilber Ortayli a copy of the book that was exclusively published for the 100th anniversary of the hospital.
