In Centropa Video Competition 2019, three videos that were filmed by Ulus Private Jewish School students received awards. In ‘Virtual Jewish Cookbook’ category, “Almodrote De Kalavasa” video prepared by the secondary school students counselled by Kim Çakırkaya, won the second prize. In ‘My Community’ category, “Kristallnacht” video prepared by the high school student Sezer Yahyai counselled by Engin Arık, also won the second prize. In the same category Emre Arditi received the third prize with his video “The Assassination of Walter Rathenau.”

In the 17th Science Research Projects Competition organized by Private Ege High School, UÖMO high school students Metin Barokas and Loni Aslan Beharti received the Second Prize in Physics Branch of the competition with their project ‘Experimental Battery that is Charged by Low Energy RF (WIFI) Sources.’
Within the scope of “Jewish Peoplehood Project”, secondary school students organized a trip to Israel, and presented their project. Ulus Private Jewish School students have been conducting a joint international study with Haifa Rabin School in Israel for “The Jewish Peoplehood Project”, trying to shed some light on history, focus on issues of Jewish identity, Israel-Diaspora relations, social involvement and leadership.
The company “BLIXED” founded last year by the high school Entrepreneurship Club, became the finalist for Istanbul once again to compete in Trade Fair. “My Cartoonist” blog by 6th grade student Maya Özgür was chosen among the ten projects worthy to be displayed in the Trade Fair.
