Starting from the second night of Passover to the day before Shavuot, is a special period known as Sefirat HaOmer - Counting of the Omer, where each day marking the 7 weeks (49 days) between these two holidays is counted. This period of the counting of the Omer can be done via the Omer calendar.
This 'Omer Calendar' belonging to the Bursa Gerush Synagogue can be seen in the Ethnography section of the Quincentenial Foundation Museum of Turkish Jews.
