Renan Koen will Perform Live at two Holocaust Remembrance Events
The famous pianist Renan Koen is going to perform live during two Holocaust Remembrance events on Wednesday, January 27th, and Thursday, January 28th.The pianist, composer, soprano, and music therapist Renan Koen is going to perform live during two Holocaust Remembrance events.
On Wednesday, January 27th, at 19:00 hrs. Renan Koen will be performing a live concert during the Holocaust Remembrance Event themed 'Not To Forget - Per Non Dimenticare' organized by the Istanbul Italian Cultural Institute (Istituto Italiano di Cultura Istanbul) together with the Italian Jewish Community, under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in Istanbul.
The concert will be performed live at the Historic Itlian Synagogue in Istanbul 'Kal de Los Frankos', and live-streamed via the Istanbul Italian Cultural Institute's website https://iicistanbul.esteri.it/iic_istanbul/tr/ and via their social media accounts. The concert will also be able to be watched via the Turkish Jewish Community's Twitter account @tyahuditoplumu and social media accounts.
On Thursday, January 28th, Koen will be performing a concert during the 'Washington Congressional Holocaust Commemoration' live event organized by the Sephardic Heritage International DC (SHIN DC). This year the event will be live-streamed via Zoom due to COVID-19. Also, the special guest of the evening will be the CEO of Pfizer, Albert Bourla who is the son of Holocaust survivors. He will tell his Sephardic family’s story of survival “more deeply than ever before.”
