Fazıl Say´s Israel Concerts

World-renowned Turkish artist Fazil Say gave six concerts in Israel together with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO) on May 17-21. The first concert was performed in Jerusalem and the rest in Tel Aviv.
Say, with his phenomenal and extraordinary talent and his distinctive style speaking directly to the heart that has impressed both the audience and the critics in a rare way for years, attracted great attention as always.
Fazıl Say, who had given concerts in Israel many times, in his statement he shared via his social media account said "Good evening from Mann Auditorium. This is my -it's easy to say- 53rd concert in this famous hall of 2200 people, the first of which was with Itzhak Perlman in 2000." This time Fazıl Say performed 'Ravel: Piano Concerto' and 'Sibelius: Symphony No. 2' with IPO and the distinguished Finnish Conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste. Fazıl Say who plays for at least 2000 people in each of his concerts, was applauded with enthusiastic cheers by the music lovers.

On Saturday there were two concerts: Ahead of his concert at 21:00 hrs., the artist performed his own works titled 'Kaz Dağları (Mount Kaz)' and 'In Memory of Atatürk - Moving Mansion' together with Persona String Quartet, at 17:00 hrs, in Mann Auditorium Zucker Hall.
This outstanding tour ended with the concert on the evening of Sunday, May 21st.
