"The Club"s New Season Introduced
Netflix´s "The Club (Kulüp)" series, whose second season will begin airing on September 15th, was introduced at an event held on the evening of September 13th.The launch event on Wednesday evening was organized in Beyoğlu's Çiçek Pasajı (Flower Passage - originally called Cité de Péra). In the event that all the team attended, a menu consisting of traditional Turkish Sephardic Cuisine created by Chef Cenk Debensason was catered.
"The gates of the Club, where those with their own stories stick together and become a family, are opening once again; Matilda is reorganizing her dinner table where she has gathered her family whom she herself chose. The Club's story which was greatly loved in its first season, continues where it left off, with its highly anticipated new episodes, on Netflix on September 15th."
During the event, the first trailer of the second season was also presented. The story of the new season of "The Club" takes place in Istanbul in the 1960s. Rana, who is now 5 years old, is growing up admiring the vibrant and sparkling world of the Club. As Matilda and Çelebi do their best to keep the Club alive despite everything, Raşel goes through some tough times learning to build her own family with Rana. In the new season, the Club family sticks together stronger than ever, struggling to stand up straight against all odds.
The story creator of the series is Rana Denizer, and the project creator Zeynep Günay is directing the series together with Seren Yüce. In the new season Halil Babür, Serra Arıtürk, Ada Erma are joining the series' cast consisting of successful names such as Gökçe Bahadır, Barış Arduç, Asude Kalebek, Salih Bademci, and Fırat Tanış.
