From the Museum of Turkish Jews: "Rabbi Moshe Benhabib´s Order and Seal"
"Rabbi Moshe Benhabib´s Badge and Seal", selected from the Quincentennial Foundation Museum of Turkish Jews collection...This red velvet box inscribed with Sultan Abdülhamid's (1876-1909) tughra (a calligraphic monogram, seal, or signature of a sultan), was presented to the Chief Rabbi of Bursa Moşe Ben Habib Efendi (Rabbi Moşe Benhabib) during Abdülhamid's reign. In the box located are the Order of the Medjidie (Mecidiye Nişanı - instituted in 1851 by Sultan Abdulmejid I) and the seal with words "Hüdavendigar (Allah'ın hediyesi) Hahambaşı vekili Musa Bin Habip, 1321 (Roughly translated to "God's Gift Deputy Chief Rabbi Musa Bin Habip")". The year 1321 in the Hijri calendar is the year 1904 in the Gregorian calendar.
These can be seen in the glass showcase where the documents about the Chief Rabbinate are displayed on the main floor of the Quincentennial Foundation Museum of Turkish Jews.
